Earlier in the year, challenged by Wayne Stocks over at Dad in the Middle, I created a “Wordle” for this blog.

To quote the Wordle site :

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.

If you look below you will see our recent Wordle. If you are wondering why the word “asparagus”  ( not a word you use every day!) is so prominent, it is because it was featured, and frequently referred to, in a recent post: 3 things I learned from planting asparagus.

It is two months since I last ran our web address through Wordle.net. [Click the image for an enlarged version.]

Though it is really only a little bit of fun, it is always intriguing to see what themes emerge.  The larger the lettering, the more often the word is used. I have a feeling that Wordle simply look at the home page, so this image will reflect words used in the last 10 posts only.

We have come a long way since our first Wordle highlighted pizza and cake! If you would like to browse our site by a similar method, have a look at our tags, in the side bar to the right. Unlike the Wordle image, these are clickable and reflect the whole site, not only recent posts.

It is interesting to see this months Wordle for our blog, though it is really only a bit of fun. Changes from last month include less Pizza and Cake and more Bible and Presentations!

Today we used Wordle to create a word picture of this blog. The challenge was thrown out by Wayne Stocks over at Dad in the Middle.

Apparently the image shows words which you use most frequently in larger type than others. Despite being featured in only one review game, somehow Pizza and Cake figure large in our image! So did Kids – just as prominent as they are in our hearts and ministry.
